Uglacy Challenge

D’argo puts off getting a job as he is far too busy making time with the various delivery girls and old college flames. He scores his fifth service Sim in the form of Marylena Hamilton and then decides its time to put the moves on Maerie. She proves to be stubbornly infertile which leads Merkin to act.

Merkin smoothes things over with Rosemarie and invites her to move in. She’s a romance Sim, of course. That doesn’t stop Merkin from immediately impregnating her and forcing her to marry him so the child can have his last name. Little Angarina enters the world and her mother promptly goes off the deep end. Not really having the time to deal with a crazy wife, Merkin sends her packing to a nice little condo on the other side of town. He has Shannon, newly graduated from college, move in along with her to make sure she’s settled.

D’Argo and Shannon purchase a few meager furnishings for their house and are left with a whopping six Simoleons to their name. Shannon really wants to boost her creativity, but they can’t afford to buy any art supplies. So the two head out to the Desert Lounge where Shannon jams on the bass while D’Argo works at the bar to bring in some spare cash.

D’Argo makes short work of seducing his professor Margaret Howe and makes Dean’s List. In fact that semester would turn out to be the last time D’Argo ever did an assignment, or anything besides show up for class. Eventually the relationship between him and Shannon grows, and he adds another love to his list. He’s just warming up though, because his goal is 20.

Merkin visited Maerie at college one evening and came to the horrible realization that no amount of garish makeup or cheesy hairstyles would transform his only child into anything other than exotic looking woman with extremely high cheekbones. Crushed by disappointment, he headed back to Ugburgh knowing he had to do something.
